Copyright Notice
Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright: Authors will retain their copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication of their work, which will simultaneously be subject to the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) . This license allows others to share the work with acknowledgment of the authorship and initial publication in this journal, prohibits commercial use, and requires that any remix, transformation, or derivative work be distributed under the same license as the original.
- Non-exclusive licensing: Authors may enter into other non-exclusive licensing agreements for the distribution of the version of the work published in this journal, provided that Small Business International Review is specifically mentioned as the original source. The authorship of the work, the year, issue number, and pages or elocation-id where the information was found must be cited accordingly, and a link to the journal's website must be included via its assigned DOI.
- Online dissemination: Authors are permitted and encouraged to disseminate all their manuscripts online (in their institutional repositories or on their personal websites) for both submitted (pre-print) and accepted (post-print) versions, provided they acknowledge that the article has been submitted to or accepted by the journal. This practice promotes the rapid circulation and dissemination of the work, potentially increasing its citation and reach within the academic community.
- Clarification Note Regarding Creative Commons License Change: The journal Small Business International Review published its first two issues under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND) . However, after learning about the DECLARACIÓN DE MÉXICO (Mexico Declaration) in favor of the Latin American Non-Commercial Open Access Ecosystem, the editors decided to switch to a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA) . As a result, Vol. 2, No. 2 (2018) and all subsequent issues have been published under this new license format.
